Please congratulate WCDCCW President Karen Booth on her appointment to the NCCW Service Commission! It’s easy to see why Karen has been selected to serve at this high level. As you have undoubtedly observed, she is a spiritual model, a gifted leader, and is a tireless servant, truly living her life of faith through works. For example, following Hurricane Michael, she made daily trips from Niceville to Panama City (1.5 hour each way) for weeks on end to assist the Catholic Charities relief effort at St. Dominic. Good news!! Our final tally for donations for the Sept 7 Food Packing Event is $26,935! We needed $23,100 so almost $4,000 will roll over to next year's event, which is scheduled for Sat, Sept 6. Mark your calendars and please remember our hungry sisters and brothers we are feeding when you plan your budgets. Thank you, Lord!! and thank you all who participated in any way, Joan
